Covid-19 and Little Dewchurch

The Parish Council wants to ensure everyone feels fully informed and confident that there is no need to worry about how you’ll manage if you have to self-isolate, either as a precautionary measure, or because you are unwell.  The important fact is that there is no need to fret or panic – currently, there is still only one confirmed case of Covid-19 in the whole of Herefordshire and 80% of people who contract it only have mild symptoms, no worse than any U.K. Winter bug, and only 1% of people with Covid-19 suffer severe symptoms.

Nevertheless our WELLBEING HUB is fully in gear to help and a Resilience Plan for our Parish has already been created and is ready to be implemented.

CORONAVIRUS HELP IN OUR PARISH … Perhaps you are worrying about these uncertain times, how you will cope if you have to self isolate, or how will you get shopping and medication?  Please do not worry! The Wellbeing Hub is ready to support you. Already we have small team prepared to collect food and medication and there are phone contacts if you need to talk to someone. You may just feel concerned about the Government messages (which are being updated daily) and want to confirm the facts with someone. For assistance and advice, please call Jo Hawthorne on 01432 840800 and she will co-ordinate the support you need.
