A new digital leaflet has been launched by the Integrated Care Board (ICB) to help parents and carers manage their children’s health more easily through proxy access on the NHS App. The leaflet is now available for new mums in Herefordshire and Worcestershire to view within the Badger Notes App. It provides a simple guide to using the NHS App to keep track of children’s appointments, prescriptions, vaccinations and other important health information, alongside managing your own healthcare.

Proxy access allows parents, legal guardians or carers to view a child’s medical information, as long as they are registered at the same GP practice. The leaflet explains how to download the NHS App and how to request proxy access from your GP practice, including the identity documents needed to set it up.
