Citizens Advice Herefordshire: Free, Independent Advice for Local Residents

Citizens Advice Herefordshire provides free, confidential, independent and impartial advice to people across the county. The service helps residents find a way forward when facing challenges such as debt, benefits, housing, employment, family issues, healthcare costs, consumer rights and money management.

For people with more complex needs, specialist caseworkers offer in-depth support in areas including housing and homelessness, welfare benefits and debt. Dedicated Macmillan advisers also provide benefits advice for people affected by cancer.

Advice is available by phone, email, appointment, drop-in sessions and outreach locations across Herefordshire, including Hereford, Leominster, Bromyard, Ross-on-Wye, Kington and Peterchurch.

Citizens Advice Herefordshire is also looking for volunteers. Roles include Adviser, Customer Service and Administration positions, with full training and ongoing support provided. It’s a great opportunity to gain new skills, meet people and make a difference in your local community.
