Leominster Mug Stop officially launched this month and it got off to a fantastic start.

The first session saw the community come together in great numbers, with plenty of bacon rolls served, lots of conversation and a real buzz in the room. It was a brilliant example of people coming together to share food, company and a welcoming space. The event was supported by a fantastic team of volunteers from Leominster Foodbank and Leominster Methodist Church, whose hard work helped make the launch such a success. It was also great to see local partners, including the police, stopping by to show their support.

Mug Stop offers a simple but important space where anyone can drop in, have something to eat and enjoy a chat in a friendly environment. Based on the success of the first session, it’s already clear it’s going to make a real difference in the community.
