Heading to a farm this Easter?

Spring visits are great fun for families, but they also come with a higher risk of picking up infections from animals and the farm environment. Germs can be picked up from animal bodies, droppings, fences or gates, even when things look clean. In vulnerable groups, such as young children, pregnant women and elderly or immunocompromised people these infections can be particularly serious.

The UK Health Security Agency has shared a useful blog post full of information on What to do when visiting a farm, things to avoid and what to do if you feel unwell after a farm visit. To find out more, visit the Talk Community Directory.
