As Christmas week approaches, we would like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to each and every one of you who has supported and enriched our communities throughout 2025.

The Talk Community Directory is available throughout the festive period, for wellbeing information, useful contacts and details of services and events.

Here’s a few reminders for whilst we are away:

• Eligible families can book their free activities on the Here for Herefordshire Holidays Programme, and activities are running on 22–23 December and 29–30 December.
• We have pulled together some handy tips and contacts to help you stay safe and well this winter on the Keeping well in winter page.
• You can find out about some of the Christmas activities and meals being organised around the county on our Community Christmas page. You’ll also find information about local food banks/shares as well a list of useful contacts we have compiled.
• We understand that the festive period can bring its challenges and it’s important to know that if you’re struggling with your mental health, help is available. Visit the Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing pages for more information.
